About This Game A doomed sailor is shipwrecked on an uncharted island. In fog-shrouded valleys, where grinning, mossy corpses cling to rusted arms, shambling figures begin to stir. Beneath crumbling, salt-worn structures, labyrinthine passageways lead to unspeakable evil, long forgotten by man. Salt and Sanctuary seamlessly combines fast, brutal, and complex 2D combat with richly developed RPG mechanics. Discover, craft, and upgrade over 600 weapons, armor pieces, spells, and items as you explore a cursed realm of forgotten cities, blood-soaked dungeons, desecrated monuments, and the fallen lords they once celebrated. From Ska Studios, the award-winning indie studio behind a long list of stylistic, visceral, and brutally executed action titles that includes The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, and Charlie Murder, comes Salt and Sanctuary, the studio’s most ambitious title to date. 7aa9394dea Title: Salt and SanctuaryGenre: Action, Indie, RPGDeveloper:Ska StudiosPublisher:Ska StudiosRelease Date: 17 May, 2016 Salt And Sanctuary Activation.rar Dark souls - Praise the sun!! Salt and Sanctuary - Pass the Salt? good gameplay design, well designed boss battle.. dark souls\/dishwasher samurai meet 2D platforms nice amazing game of year hope to see another success keep up the good work devs play game since PS4. 2D Dark souls heavily invested in lore and awesome items, great replayability due to the nature of the skill tree. The game offers greataxes and hammers as well as scissor swords alongside sword-whips; magic involves wands inclluding staves. The game's sanctuary system is beautiful, even though the start of the game only faces you with 3 creeds there are more than double throughout the game, 3 of which are hidden, unless of course you got confused on how to get to the coveted boss fight and decided to find the other way into the temple. The music, I hate to say it but it is cool edgy stuff also glorious at times.A part of the game which touched me is the the fact that there is only one class 5 great sword in the game as far as I know owned by a certain someone. I can see myself putting more hours into this game into the future. If I had any complaints it's that I would have liked more weapons and armour that scale from classes 3-5 but I respect the dev's intentions of having few powerful weapons.. I could enjoy this game more if i just knew where to go and what to do. Not sure if there is a guide or help otherwise just a game on my shelf. Good game if you know what to do.. I can see the charm in this game, the art-style is very unique and some of the enemy designs are just downright creepy. Some of the areas have fun environmental and platforming ideas, but the ideas end after a few minutes of gameplay and thus potentially very fun ideas give about the level of intrigue as a child's crappy art project. Rolling with little to no armor was my preferred strategy for almost every single boss, as shields are for the most part crap and dodging isn't very hard to do due to most bosses only have 3-4 moves total. I could see some potential for magic and cleric builds being interesting, but this game doesn't really warrant a second playthrough due to its lack-luster boss battles, some (ex: witch of the lake going off-screen) of which seemed quite a bit buggy, or untested at least, its non-diversity of music (same boss theme for almost every boss) and its really awful platforming in some areas (final drop onto breaking platforms near skull sanctuary, maybe there's a way to avoid that first death but I saw no warning signs. I did find the brief upside-down segment at the bottom of the ziggurat of dust very enjoyable though). The most interesting aspect of this game besides the artstyle and creepy monster design was the exploration, and though I think the metroidvania elements(brands) could have been done better, they still allowed for some fun backtracking with some genuinely interesting backdrops. The shorelines in particular I thought were breathtaking. Personally wouldn't recommend this game for the average person, but if you enjoy some spooky dark caves and some weird lookin' dragons I would give it a whirl.
